1) Issue IDs

  • Students receive a digital ID (mobile) + optional NFC card.
  • Auto-provision via SIS import (OneRoster / Ed-Fi or CSV).
  • Role-based permissions (student, staff, visitor, vendor).

2) Control Access

  • Door & room access with offline policy cache in readers.
  • Time-window rules (e.g., lab access 7am–6pm).
  • Event tickets and temporary passes (subs/contractors).

3) Take Attendance

  • Teacher start → students tap/scan; tardies auto-flagged.
  • Syncs back to SIS; supports room presence beacons (opt-in).

4) Pay & Notify

  • POS with spending rules; subsidy mode without stigma.
  • Parent app: attendance, balances, notifications.
  • Safety alerts and crisis rosters on staff devices.
